TMA Contemporary shares what is at the forefront of Wisconsin’s visual art landscape today. The exhibit takes the temperature of what’s being created now and embraces all forms of art media, ideas, and voices.
Each year, TMA asks all Wisconsin artists working in any medium to apply. Jurors select work based on artistic quality and innovative ideas. Artists may draw unique inspiration from the world around them, societal influences, personal experience, the environment, beauty, and their imagination. This year, TMA Contemporary displays 112 works from over 1,000 submitted artworks.
